TERMS & CONDITIONS

Welcome to Crumbs+Ink.

By booking a service, purchasing a product, or engaging with this website, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These policies are designed to protect both you, the client, and me, the designer and strategist.

1. Services Offered

Crumbs+Ink offers branding, packaging, website design, and brand strategy services. Each project begins with a mandatory Brand Strategy Workshop. Design packages are available as add-ons once the strategy is complete.

2. Booking & Payment

A R15,000 non-refundable payment is required upfront to secure your strategy session.
Additional service packages (Brand Identity, Packaging, Website Design) are quoted based on scope, and require a 50% deposit to begin.
The remaining balance is due prior to final delivery of assets.
Payment is accepted via secure EFT (banking details provided upon invoice).

3. Client Responsibilities

Clients are expected to:

Complete the intake form with accurate and honest information.
Provide required content (logos, brand copy, images) in a timely manner.
Communicate clearly and respectfully during the design process.
Adhere to agreed timelines for feedback and approvals.

Failure to respond within 10 business days may result in project delays or rescheduling.

4. Revisions & Scope

Strategy sessions include 1 post-session refinement (if needed).
Design packages include 2 rounds of revisions. Additional rounds are billed at R800/hour.
Scope creep (requests outside of the original agreement) will be quoted separately.

5. Delivery of Work

Final files are delivered in digital format only.
You will receive the agreed-upon assets in web-ready and print-ready formats.
All deliverables are reviewed and personally approved by Catia prior to handover.

6. Ownership & Copyright

All final, paid-for designs are yours to use as you wish.
Crumbs+Ink retains the right to showcase work in portfolios, case studies, and marketing.
You may not edit or resell the design work without written permission unless explicitly licensed.

PRIVACY POLICY

Name, email address, business information (submitted via contact/booking forms)
Browsing data collected anonymously via website analytics

To respond to enquiries and deliver services
To personalise your brand experience
To improve website performance

How We Protect It:

Your information is never sold or shared with third parties.
We use secure platforms (e.g. Wix, Gmail, payment portals) to protect your data.

Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

CANCELLATION & RESCHEDULING POLICY

For Strategy Sessions:

All strategy sessions are pre-paid and non-refundable.
You may reschedule once with a minimum of 48 hours' notice.
If you do not attend your scheduled session or cancel with less than 72 hours' notice, your session will be forfeited.

For Design Projects:

If you cancel after booking a design project, your deposit is non-refundable.
If significant work has been done, you may be invoiced for time and resources beyond the deposit.
In rare circumstances (illness, emergency), we will work together to reschedule.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Limitation of Liability

Crumbs+Ink is not liable for any damages (including loss of income, business interruption, or incorrect file use) arising from the use of our designs or strategy. Clients are responsible for proofreading and approving final work before publishing or printing.

We aim to deliver exceptional brand strategy and design, but success also depends on execution. Crumbs+Ink makes no guarantees of increased revenue, visibility, or traffic, though our process is designed to support those outcomes.

CHANGES TO TERMS
